MC Alger win third successive Algerian League title

MC Alger have been crowned champions of Algeria for the 10th time, moving level with CR Belouizdad in the all-time title rankings.

The latest triumph further cements MC Alger’s status among the country’s most successful clubs, with only JS Kabylie ahead on 14 league titles.

This victory also marks a significant milestone for the club, completing a remarkable three-peat after previously winning the 2023–24 and 2024–25 league titles. The sustained success highlights a period of dominance for MC Alger in Algerian domestic football.

Securing three consecutive championships is a rare achievement and reflects both consistency and strength within the squad and technical setup. Over the past three seasons, MC Alger have demonstrated resilience and quality, maintaining their position at the top of the league.

Drawing level with CR Belouizdad in total titles adds another layer of significance to the achievement, intensifying the historical rivalry between two of Algeria’s most decorated sides.

The gap to JS Kabylie, long regarded as the country’s most successful club, has also narrowed, raising the prospect of further shifts in the all-time standings in the coming years.

The latest title is expected to reinforce MC Alger’s ambitions both domestically and on the continental stage, as success at home often provides a platform for stronger performances in African competitions.

As celebrations begin, attention will also turn to whether the club can extend its dominance and challenge for a fourth consecutive title next season—an achievement that would further solidify its place in Algerian football history.
