Mbow commits to Paris FC despite growing transfer interest

Moustapha Mbow has reaffirmed his commitment to Paris FC despite attracting interest from clubs across Europe following an impressive season in Ligue 1.

The Senegal international defender, who has emerged as one of the standout performers for the French side, says his immediate focus remains on continuing his development at the club rather than pursuing a move elsewhere.

The 25-year-old centre-back has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, earning recognition for his defensive reliability, composure in possession and consistency against some of the league’s most dangerous attackers. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with reports suggesting that clubs in England and Germany are monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

Despite that growing interest, Mbow has made it clear that he is committed to the project at Paris FC.

“I have a contract with Paris FC. I want to play at the highest level here,” he said as quoted by L’Equipe “Then again, in football, you never know. But in any case, I’m committed to the project. Everyone dreams of playing in the Premier League or the Bundesliga.”

His comments are likely to provide reassurance to Paris FC supporters, who have seen him develop into a central figure in the team’s defensive structure. Over the course of the season, Mbow has established himself as one of the most dependable players in the squad, combining physical presence with tactical awareness.

His rise has also strengthened his reputation within Senegalese football, with many observers viewing him as one of the country’s emerging defensive talents capable of making the step up to one of Europe’s elite leagues in the future.

While he has acknowledged the appeal of playing in competitions such as the Premier League or Bundesliga, Mbow’s current stance suggests he is in no rush to leave. Any potential move would likely require a significant offer to convince both the player and Paris FC to consider a transfer.

For now, his priority appears to be helping Paris FC build on their progress and continue their upward trajectory in French football.

However, with the transfer window approaching and interest continuing to grow, speculation surrounding Mbow’s future is expected to persist in the coming months.
