Kenyan attacking midfielder Enock Machaga has joined Gor Mahia FC from Nairobi United, signing a deal with the record Kenyan champions until 30 June 2027.
Machaga, 28, arrives at Gor Mahia after a spell with Nairobi United, whom he joined in January 2025 from FC Talanta. His move continues a steady rise through the Kenyan club game, having previously featured for Bandari FC before switching to Talanta in 2022.
Primarily operating in an attacking midfield role, Machaga adds creativity and top-flight experience to Gor Mahia’s squad. He also brings continental know-how, having made 10 appearances and scored once in the CAF Confederation Cup, gaining 633 minutes of game time in the competition.
Born on 28 April 1998, Machaga has spent his entire senior career in Kenya, building a reputation as a central attacking presence capable of linking midfield and attack. His progression from Bandari to Talanta and then to Nairobi United has seen him establish himself as a regular at Premier League level.
The switch to Gor Mahia marks the latest step in a career that has taken in several Kenyan clubs over the past four years, and his contract running to 2027 underlines the club’s commitment to integrating him into their long-term plans.
Machaga’s transfer from Nairobi United to Gor Mahia FC was completed on 16 July 2026, with the midfielder now officially registered as a Gor Mahia player for the 2026-27 season.
