Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl rules out January signings

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl says the club do not currently see a need to recruit during the winter transfer window.

Eberl believes Bayern Munich can produce a run of strong results once the squad reaches peak fitness and form. He again stressed that the club have no reason to bring in new players in January.

The comments follow two successive draws for Vincent Kompany’s side. Bayern Munich were held 2-2 by Augsburg in the Bundesliga before drawing 3-3 with Viking in the Champions League.

After five matches, Bayern Munich are third in the German league table.

The club have also denied reports of an agreement involving Harry Kane.
