Nigerian-English goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who plays for Wrexham, has been linked with a move to Leicester.
The 24-year-old has a contract with Wrexham until 30 June 2027, while his current market value is listed at €5m. Leicester are reported to be interested in adding the goalkeeper as they prepare for the 2026-27 League One campaign.
Okonkwo has yet to make an appearance for Wrexham in the Championship this season. He has also not featured in their EFL Cup fixture so far.
The goalkeeper joined Wrexham permanently from Arsenal on 1 July 2024 in a free transfer, following a loan spell at the Welsh club during the 2023-24 season. That campaign ended with Wrexham securing promotion to the third league.
Okonkwo began his career in Arsenal’s academy and spent time on loan at Crewe Alexandra and Austrian club Sturm Graz before returning to the Premier League side. He won the Austrian Cup with Sturm Graz in 2022-23.
Born in London, Okonkwo is eligible to represent both Nigeria and England. He remains a Wrexham player, with his existing contract running for another season beyond the current campaign.
