Moroccan centre-forward Tawfik Bentayeb of Union Touarga is being linked with a move to Greek giants Olympiacos as the Super League 1 club explore options to strengthen their attack.
Bentayeb, 24, has seen his reputation rise sharply after finishing as top goalscorer in the 2025-26 Ligue 2 campaign with 18 goals. The Union Touarga striker, valued at around €8 million, has emerged as a potential target for Olympiacos following that breakout season, with the Greek side tracking forwards capable of adding a reliable scoring threat.
Born in Casablanca on 14 January 2002, the left-footed attacker has been with Union Touarga Sportif since joining the club in September 2021. Operating through the middle as a centre-forward, he has developed into a key figure for the Botola Pro Inwi side, his prolific second-tier campaign drawing interest from clubs outside Morocco.
Olympiacos’ interest comes at a time when Bentayeb’s market value was last updated in late May 2026, reflecting his recent progress and individual accolade. His height of 1.80m and output in front of goal have added to the sense that he is ready for a move to a more competitive European league.
Bentayeb’s contractual terms at Union Touarga have not been made public, but the Moroccan club are expected to weigh any approach against his importance to the team following his 18-goal haul last season.
