Moroccan defender Oussama Jalfate has joined Union Touarga on a free transfer from JS Massira, signing a contract with the Botola Pro Inwi club until 30 June 2028. The 28-year-old left-back returns to the Rabat-based side after completing his latest spell with the Laayoune outfit.
Jalfate’s switch was finalised on 26 July 2026 and sees him back in familiar surroundings, having previously represented Union Touarga earlier in his career. The move keeps him in Moroccan football’s top tier and gives Union Touarga an experienced option on the left side of their defence.
Born in Mohammadia on 21 December 1997, Jalfate has built his senior career entirely in Moroccan football. Before rejoining Union Touarga, he had been with JS Massira, having first arrived there from Kenitra in 2023, also on a free transfer. His earlier stints have seen him move between JS Massira, Kenitra and Union Touarga since 2020, following his time at US Mohammedia.
The left-back, who stands at 1.76m, featured across league and cup competitions for JS Massira, including appearances in the Botola Pro 1 relegation phase and domestic cups, accumulating over 300 minutes of action in recent campaigns. His return offers Union Touarga a player already accustomed to the club’s environment and expectations.
Jalfate’s latest move completes a permanent free transfer back to Union Touarga, where he is now under contract through to the end of the 2027-28 season.
