In defence, Da Silva has selected Ousmane Camara of Angers SCO, Modibo Sagnan of Rizespor, Daouda Guindo of Stade de Reims, Amadou Dante of Zbrojovka, Hamari Traore of Paris FC, Nathan Gassama of Baltika Kaliningrad, Check Keita of Royal Charleroi SC and Fode Doucoure of FC Nantes.

The midfield options are Aliou Dieng of Valence FC, Amadou Haidara of RC Lens, Mohamadou Kante of West Ham, Kamory Doumbia of Stade Brestois 29, Mamadou Sangare of Brentford FC and Ousmane Diakite of West Bromwich Albion.

Mali’s attacking group consists of Lassine Sinayoko and Mamadou Camara, both of Paris FC and Montpellier HSC respectively, alongside Moussa Yeo of Swansea, Gaoussou Diakite of Salzburg, Mamadou Doumbia of Watford, Dorgeles Nene of Fenerbahce SK and Gaoussou Diarra of Feyenoord Rotterdam.
