Angolan goalkeeper Kadu, currently without a club after leaving PSBS Biak, is being linked with a move to Indonesian Super League outfit Borneo FC. The 31-year-old, whose market value is listed at around €150,000, is a free agent and would be available outside of a transfer fee, making him an accessible target for the Samarinda-based club.
Kadu only became a free agent at the start of July after departing PSBS Biak, where he had spent the 2025-26 season following a free transfer from Angolan side Sagrada. His status on the open market has alerted Borneo FC as they consider options to strengthen their goalkeeping department ahead of the new campaign.
The Porto Amboim-born stopper stands at 1.90m and has spent the bulk of his career in Portugal’s system, coming through the ranks at FC Porto. He progressed from the club’s youth sides to Porto’s senior set-up and later FC Porto B, and was part of the FC Porto squad that won the Portuguese league title in the 2011-12 season.
After leaving Portugal, Kadu’s recent career has taken him through stints with clubs including Trofense, Oliveirense, Alverca and Oliv. Hospital, before moving to Sagrada and then to Indonesia with PSBS Biak. His experience across different leagues and his availability on a free are understood to be central to Borneo FC’s interest as they weigh up a potential deal.
For now, Kadu remains unattached after his contract with PSBS Biak ended on 1 July 2026.
