Samuel Moutoussamy: DR Congo midfielder at Atromitos linked with Ha Noi FC move in V.League 1 switch

DR Congo international Samuel Moutoussamy, currently at Greek side Atromitos, is being linked with a move to Vietnamese outfit Ha Noi FC in V.League 1. The 29-year-old central midfielder, who also holds French nationality, is under contract in Athens until 30 June 2027 but has emerged as a target for the Hanoi club as they look to reinforce their midfield options.

Moutoussamy joined Atromitos from Turkish side Sivasspor on a free transfer in September 2025 and is valued at around €1.2 million. Any deal is therefore expected to require a fee to prise him away from the Super League 1 club, with Atromitos under no immediate pressure to sell given his contractual situation.

Born in Paris and left-footed, Moutoussamy has built a career in European football, establishing himself primarily as a central midfielder. Before his move to Turkey and then Greece, he spent several seasons with Nantes, stepping up from their B team to the first team and later returning from a loan spell at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands.

During his time at Nantes, he earned a notable honour as part of the squad that lifted the French Cup in the 2021-22 season, a highlight that adds pedigree to his potential arrival in Vietnam. Ha Noi FC’s interest signals growing ambition in V.League 1 to attract players with top-flight European and domestic cup experience.

For now, Moutoussamy remains an Atromitos player with one year completed on a deal that runs to the summer of 2027, leaving any move dependent on negotiations between the clubs.
