Ibrahim Maza reveals Paris Saint-Germain dream amid reported interest

Ibrahim Maza has openly expressed his desire to play for Paris Saint-Germain, saying that representing the French club would be “a huge dream” one day.

The Algeria international, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen, spoke about his admiration for the Parisian side in an interview with RTL/Sky Sport. He described Paris Saint-Germain as one of the biggest clubs in world football and made clear that he would welcome the chance to wear their shirt in the future.

“It would be a huge dream to play for Paris one day,” Maza said.

The 19-year-old’s comments underline his attraction to the project at Paris Saint-Germain, whom he regards alongside several of Europe’s leading football institutions. His public statement comes at a time when reports in the German media have suggested that the French club is monitoring his progress.

There has been no official confirmation of negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayer Leverkusen. However, Maza’s technical ability and attacking potential are understood to have attracted attention, with his profile viewed as one that could provide further options in Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking play.

For now, the Algeria international remains a Bayer Leverkusen player. Any future move would depend on discussions between the clubs, but Maza has made his preference clear by speaking openly about his ambition to join Paris Saint-Germain.

His immediate focus will be on Bayer Leverkusen’s next European fixture. The club are due to face OM in the fourth matchday of the league phase of the Europa League.

The match is also accompanied by the following odds from 1xbet: Bayer Leverkusen are priced at 1.38 to win, a draw is listed at 5.50, and an OM victory at 7.50.
