Harry Kane praises Michael Olise’s response after Bayern Munich red card

Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has praised team-mate Michael Olise for the way he responded after being sent off in the Champions League.

The France international was shown a controversial red card in Bayern’s previous match against Viking after reacting to provocation from an opponent. Playing with 10 men, the German side were unable to protect their lead in Norway and drew 3-3.

“Olise reacted brilliantly to being sent off,” Kane said.

Olise answered in the best possible way on Saturday, scoring one goal and providing an assist as Bayern defeated RB Leipzig 6-1.

Bayern’s Champions League meeting with Arsenal takes place on Wednesday, but Olise will miss the match because of his suspension.
