Tottenham send scouts to watch Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib

Tottenham had scouts in attendance as Younes Ebnoutalib scored the winning goal for Eintracht Frankfurt against Cologne on Friday.

According to TEAMtalk, the Premier League club was monitoring the 23-year-old forward during Frankfurt’s 1-0 victory. Ebnoutalib made a decisive impression, scoring the only goal of the match to secure all three points for his side.

The goal was the Morocco international’s fifth in the Bundesliga this season, underlining his progress during a campaign in which his profile has continued to grow.

Interest building across Europe

Tottenham are not the only club keeping track of Ebnoutalib. TEAMtalk reports that several European clubs are also following the Eintracht Frankfurt player, whose performances have attracted increasing attention across the continent.

Jurgen Klopp is also said to be one of Ebnoutalib’s admirers. The reported interest from a manager of Klopp’s standing could further increase attention around the forward as the transfer market develops.

Ebnoutalib’s current run of form has put him in a strong position ahead of the next transfer window. Should he maintain his scoring form, the number of potential offers for him could increase.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s next Bundesliga fixture will be against Dortmund in the seventh round of the German championship.
