ENPPI star Aktai Abdullah prioritises Al Ahly move despite Pyramids interest

ENPPI Club midfielder Aktai Abdullah has reportedly decided on his preferred destination ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, despite ongoing negotiations from Pyramids FC.

According to sources close to the player, Abdullah’s priority is to complete a move to Al Ahly SC next season after contacts were made to discuss a possible transfer.

The source revealed that although Pyramids FC remain in negotiations with the player, Abdullah is strongly leaning toward joining the Cairo giants as he looks to take the next major step in his career.

The midfielder enjoyed an impressive campaign with ENPPI, producing performances that attracted significant attention within Egyptian football.

His rapid development also earned recognition from Hossam Hassan, who included the player in Egypt’s squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Abdullah’s emergence has made him one of the most closely watched young players in the Egyptian Premier League, with both Al Ahly and Pyramids seeking to strengthen their squads before next season.

For Al Ahly, securing the player would represent another important addition as the club continues planning for domestic and continental competition, while Pyramids are equally determined to reinforce their midfield options following another competitive season.

The coming weeks are now expected to be decisive as discussions continue over the player’s future and the possibility of a high-profile move within Egyptian football.
