Barcelona face four-week wait for injured Rodri

Barcelona midfielder Rodri Hernandez is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks after suffering a thigh injury in the Champions League victory over Aston Villa.

Rodri was taken off at half-time of Barcelona’s 3-0 win after experiencing pain in his right thigh. Medical tests later showed damage to the biceps femoris muscle.

Sport.es reports that the Spain international will need approximately four weeks to recover. Barcelona confirmed the injury on 4 November, but did not give a precise timetable for his return.

The club did confirm that Rodri will miss Barcelona’s away match against Atletico on 8 November. Kick-off is scheduled for 23:00 Moscow time.
