Al Ahly exclude six players ahead of decisive Al Masry clash

Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC have confirmed six absentees from their squad ahead of Wednesday’s crucial Egyptian Premier League showdown against Al Masry SC at Borg El Arab Stadium.

Assistant coach “Mre Sabits,” working alongside head coach Yce Torop, made the final squad decisions before the team travelled to Alexandria for the title-stage encounter.

Players ruled out

Three players were left out for technical reasons:

  • Yelsin Kamwish
  • Ahmed Eid
  • Karim Fouad

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Hamza Alaa misses the match through injury, while Ahmed Nabil Koka is suspended after accumulating yellow cards.

Defender Amr El-Gazzar is also unavailable due to his wedding commitments.

High-stakes title-stage encounter

The match forms part of the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League championship phase for the 2025–26 season.

Al Ahly SC are looking to finish the campaign strongly as the club continues balancing domestic ambitions with major off-field decisions regarding contract renewals and squad restructuring ahead of next season.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM local time at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria
