Moroccan-Spanish striker Youssef Ouakkati has rejoined Atletic Lleida from Atletico Monzon on a free transfer, signing a deal with the Spanish club until 30 June 2027.
The 26-year-old centre-forward, born in Huesca and eligible for both Morocco and Spain, returns to Lleida for a third spell after leaving the club for Monzon in the 2024–25 season, also on a free. His latest move was finalised on 25 July 2026.
Ouakkati is no stranger to Atletic Lleida, having first arrived there from FC Alcarras in 2022. During his previous time with the club he featured in promotion play-offs to the Segunda Federacion, scoring four goals in nine appearances in that competition at a rate of a goal roughly every two full matches.
That form in the promotion phase, combined with his experience in the Copa Federacion, underlined his ability to contribute in decisive fixtures at this level of Spanish football and has now led Lleida to bring him back into their attack.
The centre-forward’s new contract ties him to Atletic Lleida for the 2026–27 campaign, with the option to build on his earlier impact following his free-transfer switch from Atletico Monzon.
