Samuel Ntanda-Lukisa could be set for a move within Belgium as Sporting Charleroi show interest in signing the DR Congo youth international from RSC Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old winger, who currently plays for Anderlecht’s reserve side RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League, is reportedly being considered for a transfer before the end of the season.
The move would offer the young attacker an opportunity to step up to a more prominent role in the Belgian top-flight environment.
Ntanda-Lukisa, born in Belgium but representing the Democratic Republic of Congo at youth level, has shown promise despite limited opportunities with Anderlecht’s senior side.
After returning to the club last summer, he has struggled to secure consistent first-team minutes, spending much of the campaign with the development squad.
In the current season, he has featured for RSCA Futures, making an impact in restricted playing time.
Across 791 minutes, the forward has scored four goals and provided one assist, numbers that underline his potential despite not being a regular starter.
His situation reflects a broader challenge faced by many young African talents developing in European systems: balancing development opportunities with the need for competitive first-team exposure.
For Ntanda-Lukisa, a move to Charleroi could provide the platform needed to accelerate his progress.
Charleroi’s interest comes as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options with emerging talent.
The Belgian side is believed to be exploring the terms of a possible transfer, although any deal is likely to involve a fee.
Anderlecht are expected to seek a return on their investment, having paid approximately €700,000 to sign the player from UC Sampdoria last year, where he previously featured for the Italian club’s second team.
Contractually, Ntanda-Lukisa still has one year remaining on his deal with Anderlecht, with an option for an additional year.
This gives the Brussels-based club some leverage in negotiations, even as they weigh up whether to retain the player or allow him to move on in search of more playing time.
For the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ntanda-Lukisa remains part of a growing pool of young players developing abroad.
His progress will be closely monitored as the country continues to look toward its diaspora talent to strengthen its future national teams.
With discussions ongoing, the coming weeks are expected to be decisive in determining whether Ntanda-Lukisa remains at Anderlecht or begins a new chapter with Charleroi.
