Vipers SC crowned 2025/26 Uganda Premier League champions after final-day triumph

Vipers SC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League after sealing a commanding 3-0 away victory over Maroons FC on the final day of the season.

The decisive result confirmed the league title for the Venoms, who completed their campaign in style and ensured the championship trophy returns to St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Vipers produced a composed and clinical performance away from home, taking control of the match through goals from Yunus Sentamu, Arafat Usama and Karim Watambala.

The victory capped off an impressive campaign for the club, which consistently demonstrated quality, depth and consistency throughout the season.

Winning the 2025/26 league crown also guarantees Vipers a place in the next edition of the CAF Champions League, where they will represent Uganda on the continental stage.

The latest triumph further strengthens Vipers SC’s position among the dominant forces in Ugandan football as the club continues building its reputation both domestically and across Africa.
