Mali international Dorgeles Nene has emerged as a transfer target for Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow, with speculation growing over the Fenerbahce winger’s future ahead of the new season.
According to the latest Transfermarkt transfer rumours update dated 4 July 2026, Spartak Moscow are monitoring the 23-year-old, although no agreement has been reached and the likelihood of a deal remains unclear.
Fenerbahce future uncertain
Nene only joined Fenerbahce from Red Bull Salzburg in August 2025, but his future in Istanbul is already attracting attention following an impressive first season in Turkey.
While details of his current contract have not been made public, the growing interest from Spartak has fuelled speculation that Fenerbahce could face offers for one of their most valuable attacking players during the summer transfer window.
No transfer fee or personal terms have yet been reported between the clubs.
Market value continues to rise
The Mali winger is currently valued at €20 million after enjoying a rapid rise over the past two years.
His market value increased from €12 million during his final months at Red Bull Salzburg to €20 million by May 2026 following his performances in the Turkish Super Lig.
The increase reflects his continued development as one of Africa’s most promising young attacking players.
Journey across Europe
Born in Kayes, Nene began his professional journey with Guidars FC before moving to Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg in January 2021.
His development included loan spells with FC Liefering, SV Ried and Belgian side Westerlo before establishing himself at Salzburg and earning a move to Fenerbahce in August 2025.
The 1.74-metre winger has built a reputation for his pace, direct running and versatility across the front line, although he is most effective operating from the right wing.
Spartak monitoring situation
Spartak Moscow are believed to view Nene as a player capable of strengthening their attacking options, but the transfer remains at an early stage.
With no official negotiations or agreement reported, the rumoured move remains speculative.
Should the transfer materialise, it would represent another significant step in Nene’s career after spells in Mali, Austria, Belgium and Turkey, while offering him the opportunity to test himself in another European league.
