Sori Mane: Guinea-Bissau defender leaves Torpedo Kutaisi to become free agent

Guinea-Bissau and Portugal centre-back Sori Mane has left Georgian side Torpedo Kutaisi and is now a free agent after his departure from the Erovnuli Liga club was finalised. The 30-year-old’s exit brings his spell in Georgian football to an end and makes him available on the open market immediately.

Mane, who can operate at the heart of defence, had most recently been part of the Torpedo Kutaisi squad in Georgia’s top flight. His separation from the club has been completed without a transfer fee, with the player now officially without a club and able to assess his next move.

The defender’s current market valuation stands at around €300,000, underlining his status as an experienced option for sides seeking to strengthen their back line. His dual nationality links to both Guinea-Bissau and Portugal add an extra layer of interest for clubs working within foreign-player quotas or targeting players with varied international backgrounds.

Mane’s time at Torpedo Kutaisi placed him in a competitive environment in the Erovnuli Liga, where he featured in a league known for giving opportunities to established professionals from across Europe and Africa. At 30, he is moving into the next phase of his career with a considerable level of experience already behind him.

With his registration now cleared and his association with Torpedo Kutaisi concluded, Sori Mane is officially on the market as a free agent following his exit from the Georgian club.
