Simeone would gladly play Pablo Barrios for 90 minutes in every Atletico de Madrid match

Atletico de Madrid manager Diego Simeone has spoken about the progress of midfielder Pablo Barrios, saying: “I would gladly play him for 90 minutes in every match.”

Barrios played for 60 minutes in Atletico de Madrid’s recent Champions League game against Manchester United and scored one of his side’s goals.

The 23-year-old has made seven appearances in all competitions this season. He has scored once and provided one assist.

Atletico de Madrid’s next match is against Espanyol on 17 October. The La Liga fixture is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 Moscow time.
