Roma agree Robinio Vaz loan to Hull City and Neil El Aynaoui move to RB Leipzig

Roma have agreed deals for Robinio Vaz to join Hull City and Neil El Aynaoui to move to RB Leipzig as the Italian club also pursue attacking reinforcements before the summer transfer window closes.

Both players will miss Roma’s away match at Lecce tomorrow because their departures are close to being completed.

According to Sky Sport Italia’s Roma correspondent Angelo Mangiante, Vaz is set to join Hull City on a loan deal worth €2m. The agreement includes an option for the English club to make the move permanent for €30m.

The transfer is dependent on approval from Vaz’s representatives. Once that final stage has been completed, the striker will travel to England to complete the move and finalise the formalities of his transfer.

El Aynaoui is also expected to leave Roma on a paid loan. His proposed move to RB Leipzig is worth €4.5m, with the German club given an option to buy him for €27m.

The agreement for El Aynaoui also includes a sell-on clause, although no further details of that provision have been given.

Roma are now working to complete their squad with the signing of one more attacking winger. The club have made offers for Luiz Henrique of Zenit St. Petersburg and Jamie Leweling of Stuttgart.

The two winger targets form part of Roma’s final activity in the transfer market, with the club seeking to strengthen its attacking options while arranging the departures of Vaz and El Aynaoui.

Vaz’s proposed move to Hull City remains subject to the approval of his representatives, while Roma and Leipzig have already reached the financial terms for El Aynaoui’s loan and potential permanent transfer.

The latest developments mean Roma could see two players leave before their next match, while continuing negotiations over the arrival of either Luiz Henrique or Leweling.

Sky Sport Italia’s Angelo Mangiante reported the agreements as Roma prepared for their trip to Lecce. Vaz and El Aynaoui are unavailable for that fixture because of their imminent exits, with both transfers expected to progress as the club completes its end-of-window business.
