Riccardo Ejesi: Nigeria-Italy forward joins Altavilla on free transfer from Calvi Noale

Nigeria-Italy centre-forward Riccardo Ejesi has joined Altavilla on a free transfer from Serie D rivals Calvi Noale. The 23-year-old has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Unione La Rocca Altavilla club.

Ejesi, who was born in Padova and favours his left foot, moves across Serie D – C with a market value listed at around €100,000. His switch keeps him in the same division but gives Altavilla an additional option through the middle of their attack.

The forward arrived at Calvi Noale in August 2025, also on a free, and now makes the short move after one season. Before that, he spent a year with Adriese 1906, having joined them in July 2024 following a spell at Portogruaro.

Across his senior career in the Italian lower leagues, Ejesi has featured extensively in Serie D, making 82 appearances and scoring 18 goals, while adding nine assists. He has also shown an eye for goal in play-off matches, with three goals in two outings in the Serie D promotion play-offs, as well as finding the net in the Coppa Serie D.

Ejesi first stepped out of youth football with a move from Padova’s Under-19 side to Virtus Francavilla in July 2022, where he earned brief experience in Serie C, including minutes in the league play-offs. His new deal with Altavilla runs through the 2026-27 campaign, completing his free transfer from Calvi Noale.
