Algerian attacking midfielder Redouane Bounoua has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer from ES Ben Aknoun in Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old moves after one season with Ben Aknoun, strengthening Temouchent’s creative options in the final third. The deal is a permanent switch, with Bounoua arriving without a transfer fee.
Born in Sidi Bel Abbes, Bounoua has built up significant top-flight experience in Algeria’s Ligue 1, making 105 league appearances and contributing eight goals and five assists. Across those matches he has accumulated more than 5,600 minutes, underlining his status as a regular at this level.
Bounoua first established himself with USM Bel Abbes before moves to WA Tlemcen and then ASO Chlef, where he enjoyed the standout achievement of his career so far by winning the Algerian Cup in the 2022-23 season. He later joined ES Ben Aknoun on a free transfer in August 2025, again switching clubs at the end of his contract.
Comfortable in the attacking midfield role, Bounoua adds experience and cup-winning pedigree to CR Temouchent’s squad. His current market value is listed at €50,000, reflecting his status as a proven performer in the domestic top flight.
Bounoua’s move from ES Ben Aknoun to CR Temouchent was completed on 17 July 2026 as a free transfer within Ligue 1.
