Real Madrid are preparing to make a fresh approach for Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, having previously considered a move for the Turkey international when Xabi Alonso was in charge.
The 21-year-old was examined as a possible signing for the Santiago Bernabeu, but no agreement was reached. Real Madrid’s priorities changed during the past summer, when Vinicius Junior’s contract renewal and the arrival of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig took precedence.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish club are now ready to ask about Yildiz once again. He has scored 27 goals in 132 appearances for Juventus and remains one of the Italian club’s most valuable young players.
Juventus are understood to have no desire to sell one of their key assets. Yildiz is also tied to the club by a lucrative contract that runs until 2030, giving Juventus a strong position in any potential negotiations.
However, the club’s situation could change if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League this season. Missing out on European football’s leading competition could increase the pressure to consider a substantial offer for the winger.
If Juventus do agree to a sale, they would reportedly demand at least €100m. Yildiz’s former club Bayern Munich are also interested in bringing him back to Bavaria, creating competition for Real Madrid should the player become available.
A move to the Spanish capital would give Jose Mourinho another option in attack, with Real Madrid’s existing wide players including Yan Diomande, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz.eriwa
