Rayan Boukadida joins US Monastir as Tunisia-France defender leaves Le Mans FC B

Tunisia-France centre-back Rayan Boukadida has joined US Monastir from Le Mans FC B on a free transfer, giving the Ligue 1 club a 19-year-old defender for the next stage of his career.

Boukadida completed the move on 2 August 2026 and has agreed a contract with US Monastir until 30 June 2029. He becomes part of a squad competing in Tunisia’s top flight after leaving Le Mans FC B, who play in France’s National 2 Group B.

The left-footed defender made 23 appearances in the National U19 Group D, scoring four goals. He also featured four times in the Coupe Gambardella, France’s national youth cup competition.

At 1.83m, Boukadida is listed primarily as a centre-back. His move to US Monastir marks his first transfer outside the French clubs where he began his recent development, and brings him into a senior football environment in Tunisia.

Boukadida joined Le Mans FC B from St-Etienne U19 in July 2025, also on a free transfer. Before that, he had moved from St-Etienne’s under-17 side to the club’s under-19 team in July 2024.

The defender holds Tunisian and French nationality, linking his background in French youth football with a move to the Tunisian league. His record at youth level includes 27 appearances across the National U19 Group D and Coupe Gambardella, with four goals.

US Monastir have secured Boukadida without a transfer fee, with the player’s contract now running through the end of June 2029.
