Orlando Pirates will look to strengthen their push for the Betway Premiership title when they host AmaZulu at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, with both teams entering the final stretch of the season targeting maximum points.
With just six matches remaining in the 2025/26 campaign, the stakes are high for both sides. Pirates are within touching distance of the top of the table, sitting just one point behind the leaders, while AmaZulu occupy fourth place and are aiming to secure a return to continental competition.
The Buccaneers return to home ground following a challenging run of away fixtures, having recently played on the coast. Their latest outing saw them held to a 2-2 draw by Richards Bay, a result that halted their bid to reclaim top position. Despite that setback, Pirates remain unbeaten in the league since February, recording five wins and two draws in their last seven matches.

Although their chances of winning the title remain slim, a positive result against Pirates would boost their hopes of qualifying for continental competition. Having been eliminated from the Nedbank Cup at the quarter-final stage, AmaZulu now have only league fixtures to focus on.
Their away form has improved significantly after a slow start, with four wins in their last seven matches on the road. However, they face a difficult test against a Pirates side determined to avoid any slip-ups in the closing weeks of the season.
AmaZulu will be without winger Nkosikhona Radebe, who is suspended after receiving two yellow cards in their previous match. Goalkeeper Darren Johnson is also unavailable, having been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.
