France and Cameroon midfielder Patrick Tchoutang has joined J. Villenavaise from Stade Bordelais on a free transfer, completing his move on 20 August 2026.

The 34-year-old defensive midfielder leaves Stade Bordelais after one season with the club. He joined them from Trelissac FC on 1 July 2025, also on a free transfer, and now continues his career with J. Villenavaise.

Before joining Stade Bordelais for the second time, Tchoutang played for Trelissac FC during the 2024-25 season. He had arrived at Trelissac from Bergerac on 1 July 2024, following another free transfer.

His first spell at Stade Bordelais began in 2020, when he moved from Grand-Quevilly. Tchoutang spent three seasons with the club before joining Bergerac in July 2023. Earlier in his career, he represented Alberes Argeles, Muhlenbach, AL Deville M., QRM B and Red Star FC B.

Tchoutang’s playing record includes appearances in France’s National 1 and National 2, the Coupe de France, Luxembourg’s Ehrenpromotion and the Coupe de Luxembourg. Across the recorded competitions, he has made 117 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

His most productive recorded campaign came in National 2 Group D, where he made 26 appearances, scored once and supplied one assist. He also made 26 appearances in National 2 Group B, registering one assist.

Tchoutang’s career has included regular movement between clubs on free transfers. He joined Muhlenbach from AL Deville M. in January 2015, moved to Alberes Argeles the following year and then switched to Grand-Quevilly in July 2017.

He began his senior club career with Red Star FC B after leaving Red Star Under-19s in July 2009, before moving to QRM B in January 2011. His latest move keeps him in France, with J. Villenavaise becoming the midfielder’s newest club.
