Paris Saint-Germain identify Ibrahim Maza as a priority target

Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza as they look to strengthen their attacking options in the next transfer window.

The 20-year-old Algeria international has impressed with his performances for Leverkusen, attracting attention through his vision, technical ability and work rate in midfield. Those qualities are understood to fit the profile sought by Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique.

The Spanish coach is looking to compensate for the prolonged absence of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia while also adding greater creativity to his side’s attacking play. Maza’s ability to operate in different tactical roles is therefore regarded as one of his main attractions.

Paris Saint-Germain value the attacking midfielder’s potential for further development and his versatility. The club’s management could soon make a first concrete approach for the player as it assesses ways to reinforce the squad.

Any move is likely to face competition, with several other European clubs also showing interest in Maza. Paris Saint-Germain hope to move quickly in their discussions with Bayer Leverkusen and gain an advantage over their rivals in the race for his signature.

A move to the French capital would give Maza the opportunity to take another step in his developing career, while Paris Saint-Germain supporters could see one of the most promising talents of his generation arrive at the club.
