Ousama Siddiki: Morocco-born winger joins Ittihad Tanger on free transfer

Moroccan-Spanish winger Ousama Siddiki has joined Ittihad Tanger on a free transfer from Spanish side Antequera CF. The 28-year-old right-sided attacker moves to the Botola Pro Inwi after spending the bulk of his senior career in Spain’s lower divisions.

Siddiki, who was born in Tetouan and holds both Moroccan and Spanish nationality, arrives in Tangier with extensive experience in the Primera Federacion. He played more than 160 league matches across Spain’s third tier, scoring 18 goals and providing 12 assists in that time. His most recent spell at Antequera followed a free move from UD Melilla in 2024.

Before Antequera, Siddiki represented Algeciras CF and UD Logrones, building a reputation as a consistent wide option and clocking up over 5,000 minutes in the Primera Federacion Group II alone. He also featured in Spain’s second division, making 19 appearances in LaLiga2, as well as taking part in the Copa del Rey.

Siddiki’s early development included a spell at Real Madrid’s youth setup, where he progressed through several age groups before moving to Leeds United’s under-23 side in 2017. He later returned to Spain to continue his senior career, eventually earning a move into the professional ranks with Logrones and subsequent clubs.

Ittihad Tanger have secured Siddiki’s services as a free agent, adding a right winger with experience in both Spanish league and cup competitions to their attacking options.
