Omar Salah seals switch to Mostakbal Sport as Egyptian winger signs on free transfer

Egyptian right winger Omar Salah has joined Mostakbal Sport on a free transfer after leaving Baladiya. The 25-year-old, who prefers to operate from the right flank and cut inside on his left foot, has agreed a deal running until 30 June 2028.

Salah arrives at Mostakbal Sport after a short spell with Baladiya, whom he also joined on a free earlier in 2026. His move keeps him in Egyptian domestic football and hands him a fresh platform following a series of transfers across the country in recent seasons.

Last term, Salah featured in the Egyptian Premier League and made appearances in the top flight, adding minutes in the early stages of his career at that level. His involvement in league, cup and continental squads has given him exposure to several competitions, even if his game time has remained limited.

The Cairo-born winger’s career has taken in spells with El Dakhlia and Aswan SC, including a loan stint between the two clubs in the 2025-26 season. Before that, he had been on the books of Modern Future and El Sekka SC, as well as starting out at Pyramids FC’s youth set-up before moving to Coca-Cola FC.

Salah’s contract with Mostakbal Sport ties him to the club for the next two seasons as he looks to establish himself in their attack following his free-transfer move from Baladiya.
