French forward Christopher Nkunku is being linked with a move from AC Milan to Newcastle in a potential switch from Serie A to the Premier League.
Nkunku, 28, joined Milan from Chelsea on 30 August 2025 in a deal worth €37m. He remains under contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2030, meaning any move would require Newcastle to negotiate a permanent transfer rather than sign him as a free agent.
The centre-forward has made 32 Serie A appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. Across his career, he has also recorded 11 goals in 31 Champions League appearances and was the Bundesliga’s leading scorer in 2022-23 with 16 goals for RB Leipzig.
Nkunku’s career has included spells with Paris St-Germain, Leipzig, Chelsea and Milan. He won the 2025 Club World Cup and the Conference League with Chelsea before moving to Italy.
There is no reported transfer fee or probability attached to the Newcastle link, and the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player.
Nkunku’s current Milan contract, which runs for a further four seasons, remains the clearest indication of his position while interest from Newcastle is assessed.
