Motez Nourani leaves Nacional to become a free agent

Tunisia winger Motez Nourani has joined the unattached ranks after leaving Portuguese club Nacional on 3 September 2026.

The 24-year-old, who plays on the left wing, departed the Liga Portugal side after returning from a loan spell with CA Bizertin. Nourani spent the second half of the 2025-26 season with the Tunisian club, joining on loan on 30 January before returning to Nacional when the temporary agreement ended on 30 June.

Nourani had initially joined Nacional from an unattached position on 1 July 2025. His time with the Portuguese club was interrupted by the loan move to CA Bizertin, but he returned to Nacional before ending his association with the side in September.

The Sousse-born player is listed as a left winger and favours his right foot. He stands 1.77m tall and has represented clubs in Tunisia, Portugal and Turkey during his career.

Before moving to Nacional, Nourani left Turkish club Adana Demirspor in December 2024. He had joined Adana Demirspor from US Tataouine in January 2024 for a fee of €100,000, having previously played for Ittihad Shorta before his move to US Tataouine in August 2023.

Nourani’s departure comes after a period in which he was registered with Nacional for the 2026-27 Liga Portugal campaign. He did not make an appearance in the opening four possible league matches before leaving the club.

The Tunisia international now moves on from Nacional without a club, completing his departure on 3 September 2026.
