Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club head coach Miloud Hamdi has officially completed his current contract with the Egyptian club following the team’s final Egyptian Premier League match of the season.
Hamdi oversaw his final game on Friday as Al-Ittihad Alexandria drew 2-2 against National Bank of Egypt SC in the closing round of the league campaign.
With the conclusion of the match, the Algerian tactician’s original deal with the club has now expired. Although the agreement reportedly includes an option allowing both parties to extend the contract for an additional season, the final decision now rests with the club’s board of directors led by Mohamed Salama.
The Alexandria-based side is expected to hold an important evaluation meeting in the coming hours to assess the team’s performances and overall progress under Hamdi throughout the season.
Club officials are reportedly reviewing technical results carefully as part of broader plans aimed at restructuring and strengthening the football department ahead of next season.
The situation comes at a critical moment for Al-Ittihad Alexandria as the club prepares for significant internal changes involving both the technical staff and the playing squad.
Several players are also expected to leave following the expiration of loan agreements, while management continues planning for new signings capable of improving the team’s competitiveness next season.
Supporters of the “Leader of the Coast” are now awaiting the board’s final decision regarding Hamdi’s future as the club looks to rebuild and push for stronger performances in the upcoming campaign.
