Amajita head coach Raymond Mdaka has confirmed his final 23-man squad for the 2026 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations COSAFA qualifiers in Mozambique.
The regional tournament gets underway on Friday and will run until September 27, with South Africa entering the competition as defending champions.
Amajita will begin their Group B campaign against Lesotho on Saturday before taking on Angola three days later. Their final group-stage fixture will be against Eswatini on September 23.
The two finalists at the COSAFA tournament will secure qualification for the U-20 AFCON.
Mdaka has made several changes from the preliminary squad, with Fletcher Smythe-Lowe missing out on the final selection.
Kaizer Chiefs duo Takalani Mazhamba and Keabetswe Morake have both been included among the goalkeepers travelling to Maputo.
Unattached midfielder Lazola Maku has also earned a place in the final squad, while Cape Town City winger Emile Witbooi has been retained for the regional campaign.
Sundowns youngster Bennet Mokoena, who was part of the preliminary group, did not make the final 23-man selection.
South Africa will be aiming to defend their regional title while securing one of the two available qualification places for the continental U-20 tournament.
