Manchester United among clubs tracking Osimhen

The future of Victor Osimhen has become the subject of growing transfer speculation, with reports suggesting that two Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the Nigerian striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

The forward, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli, enjoyed a productive season in Turkey and played a key role in the club’s successful defence of the Super Lig title. His performances have attracted attention from clubs across Europe, fuelling discussion over where he may play next season.

Osimhen scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 33 appearances in all competitions during an impressive campaign with the Turkish champions. His contributions helped Galatasaray maintain their dominance domestically and strengthened his reputation as one of the continent’s leading attacking talents.

Interest in the Nigeria international has reportedly emerged from a number of top European sides, including teams competing in the Premier League. As a result, questions have continued to surround whether the striker could be set for another move during the upcoming transfer window.

Despite the speculation, reports from Turkey suggest that Osimhen remains content at Galatasaray and is not actively seeking an exit from the club.

Galatasaray reporter Kutlu Akpınar has indicated that the striker is settled in Istanbul and would prefer to continue his career with the Yellow-Reds. According to Akpınar, the club’s hierarchy is also preparing plans for the future with Osimhen as a central figure in the squad.

“Osimhen is happy at Galatasaray and wants to stay,” Akpınar revealed on his YouTube channel via Habersarikirmizi. “I don’t expect him to leave. A team will be built around him.”

The comments are likely to encourage Galatasaray supporters, who have seen the striker become one of the team’s most influential players since arriving from Napoli.

However, Akpınar also acknowledged that interest from England remains strong. He revealed that two Premier League clubs are following developments surrounding the player, although only one of those teams was identified.

“Two Premier League clubs are interested. One of them is Manchester United,” Akpınar concluded.

The reported interest from Manchester United is likely to intensify speculation over Osimhen’s future in the coming weeks, particularly as clubs begin planning for next season and assessing potential transfer targets.

For now, though, indications suggest that the striker is comfortable in Istanbul and focused on continuing his journey with Galatasaray. The Turkish club’s intention to build a competitive squad around him could also prove an important factor in any decision regarding his future.

With the summer transfer window approaching, attention is expected to remain firmly on Osimhen as discussions continue over his next move. Having established himself as one of Europe’s most effective strikers through his performances for Galatasaray, the Nigerian international is likely to remain a player of considerable interest across the continent.

Whether he stays in Turkey or pursues a new challenge elsewhere, his future is expected to be one of the major talking points of the summer transfer market.
