Liverpool FC have not submitted a written offer for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, despite their interest in the France international, according to information from Sacha Tavolieri.
The proposed transfer remains at a preliminary stage, with Paris Saint-Germain yet to receive a formal bid from the Premier League club. Discussions between the two sides have taken place, but no agreement is currently close to being reached.
Liverpool have reportedly made it clear that they do not have the financial resources required to meet Paris Saint-Germain’s demands for the player. The Reds are therefore not in a position, at this stage, to pay the asking price set for Barcola.
That financial gap could significantly slow the negotiations. Paris Saint-Germain must also decide what it wants to do with the future of the France international, meaning the winger’s position at the club remains an important part of the situation.
