Tunisia right winger Khalil Ayari is being linked with a move from Paris SG U23 to the Paris Saint-Germain first team as the Ligue 1 champions assess internal options ahead of the new season.
The 21-year-old, a left-footed attacker born in Tunis, is currently registered with PSG’s U23 set-up, officially listed as Paris Saint-Germain Espoirs, but his future is under discussion with his contract running until 30 June 2026. A market valuation of around €1 million is understood to frame the discussion, with PSG considering whether to formalise his promotion into Luis Enrique’s senior plans rather than look externally for depth on the right flank.
Ayari has yet to feature at the 2026 World Cup, where he is part of the Tunisia contingent but has not made an appearance across their three group-stage fixtures. His inclusion in that squad, however, has brought him increased visibility at club level at a time when PSG are reviewing their wider attacking options.
The winger joined his current PSG U23 setup on 1 July 2026 and is seen within the club structure as part of the Espoirs group that can bridge the gap between youth and first-team football. Previously, he lifted the Tunisian Cup in the 2023-24 season with Stade Tunisien, a campaign that marked his emergence in senior football and preceded his move to France.
For now, Ayari remains under contract with the U23s, with PSG yet to make a definitive call on converting his status into a full first-team role for the remainder of his deal.
