Juventus are considering a move for Brentford right-back Michael Kayode next summer as part of their long-term rebuilding plans in Turin.
The 22-year-old’s form for Keith Andrews’ team has earned him a place in the Italy national team this month, while his distinctive throw-ins and aggressive forward runs have become important components of Brentford’s approach.
Kayode signed a contract extension during pre-season that keeps him at Brentford until 2032, giving the club a strong negotiating position should Juventus make a formal approach.
The Serie A club have identified Kayode as a potential target, although their interest may not develop into an official offer until next summer.
His throw-ins are a particularly significant weapon for Brentford. Kayode is regarded as the most effective player in the Premier League in that area, and his importance to the Bees could contribute to a valuation of about £50M.
