Jurčić predicts Al Ahly lineup ahead of Pyramids clash

Krunoslav Jurčić, head coach of Pyramids FC, has revealed his expectations for Al Ahly’s starting lineup ahead of their highly anticipated Egyptian Premier League clash.

According to reports, the Croatian tactician discussed Al Ahly’s likely setup during a recent training session, offering his players detailed insight into their opponents’ tactical approach.

Taher Mohamed Tipped to Lead the Attack

Jurčić believes Taher Mohamed Taher will spearhead Al Ahly’s attack as a central striker.

Behind him, the attacking line is expected to feature a strong creative unit, including:

  • Imam Ashour
  • Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet
  • Ahmed Mostafa Zizo

This combination is expected to provide both creativity and attacking threat in the final third.

Midfield Stability with Dieng and Attia

In midfield, Jurčić anticipates a double pivot featuring:

  • Marwan Attia
  • Aliou Dieng

The duo is expected to provide defensive balance and control, allowing the attacking players greater freedom going forward.

Defensive Line Largely Unchanged

Jurčić suggested that Al Ahly are unlikely to make major changes at the back.

However, one adjustment is expected, with Ahmed Nabil Kouka set to replace the injured Youssef Belamri at left-back.

The rest of the defensive setup, along with the goalkeeper, is likely to remain unchanged.

High-Stakes Clash in Cairo

The match between Al Ahly and Pyramids FC is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM on Monday at the 30 June Stadium.

With both sides competing in the title phase of the Egyptian Premier League, the fixture is expected to draw significant attention from fans and media alike
