Senegal FA headquarters linked with possible move to property owned by Sadio Mané

The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) could be set for a significant change in its administrative base, following reports that the body may relocate to a property owned by Sadio Mané.

According to claims circulating on social media and attributed to federation official Pape Sidy Lô, the FSF is considering leaving its current headquarters in Dakar’s Liberté 6 district for a new site in Cité Keur Gorgui.

The proposed facility is described as a twelve-storey building reportedly owned by the Senegal international forward.

However, as of now, there has been no formal confirmation from the federation regarding any finalized decision or agreement.

The reported development, if confirmed, would represent a notable intersection between Senegal’s football administration and one of its most prominent sporting figures.

Sadio Mané, widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading footballers, has built a reputation beyond the pitch through investments in infrastructure and community projects across Senegal.

A potential move to a Mané-owned property could also signal a shift toward more modern administrative facilities for the federation, although details about the building, lease arrangements, or timeline remain unclear.

The information is said to have been shared during a general assembly of the Dakar League, though no official communiqué has been released by the FSF to substantiate the claims. Efforts to independently verify the remarks have so far yielded no confirmation from primary sources.

For now, the federation continues to operate from its established base, and any relocation plans remain speculative.

The FSF has yet to comment publicly on the reports.
