Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is unlikely to recover in time for the visit of Real in La Liga this weekend, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Barcelona coaching staff are sceptical about the France international’s chances of being fit for El Clasico. Kounde suffered an ankle ligament sprain during the match against Real Betis.
That injury ruled him out of Barcelona’s Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the season in that match, losing 4-2 in Paris.
Barcelona and Real are scheduled to kick off on 25 October at 23:00 Moscow time.
