Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message of support to Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after the Georgia international suffered an ACL injury.
Kvaratskhelia, 25, is expected to miss the rest of the 2026-27 season after sustaining the injury during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 Champions League victory over Barcelona on Tuesday, October 20.
The forward confirmed the severity of the injury on Instagram, prompting messages of support from across the football world, including from Ronaldo, who was Kvaratskhelia’s childhood hero.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward responded to Kvaratskhelia’s announcement with a message of encouragement.
“The hardest battles in football are often ones nobody sees,” Ronaldo wrote.
“I know that feeling, Kvara. But never forget what brought you this far, and don’t let a difficult moment make you doubt how far you can go. Keep that fire on. Your best is still to come”.
