Italy recovered from Turkey’s second-half equaliser to secure a 3-1 victory, with Riccardo Calafiori and Pio Esposito scoring after Gianluca Scamacca had opened the scoring.
Scamacca put Italy ahead in the 26th minute, giving the Azzurri a narrow lead before half-time. Turkey responded after the interval when Aral Simsir levelled the match in the 61st minute.
Italy regained control three minutes later, Calafiori restoring their advantage in the 64th minute. Pio Esposito then added Italy’s third goal in the 87th minute to complete the scoring.
