Burkina Faso international Issa Kaboré has completed a permanent move to Wrexham, signing a three-year contract with the Welsh club after impressing during his previous spell.
The 25-year-old right-back returns to the Red Dragons after making 32 appearances during his previous stint, including a productive Championship campaign in which he provided eight assists.
Kaboré’s attacking contribution from the right side of defence was a key factor behind Wrexham’s decision to secure his services on a permanent basis. He will now remain at the club until 2029 as he looks to build on his previous performances.
Born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Kaboré began his professional career with Rahimo FC in Burkina Faso before moving to Belgium in 2019 to join KV Mechelen.
That transfer marked the beginning of his European career and helped him develop into a Burkina Faso international. He has since gained experience in several competitive European environments before establishing himself at Wrexham.
His previous spell at the Racecourse Ground ultimately proved decisive in convincing the club to make the move permanent. His eight assists last season demonstrated his ability to contribute not only defensively but also in the final third.
Now back in Wales on a long-term contract, Kaboré will have the opportunity to continue his development while adding to his 32 appearances for Wrexham.
