Ismaila Sarr has given his provisional approval to join Fenerbahce, with the Turkish club now negotiating with Crystal Palace over a potential move for the Senegal international.
According to Italian journalist Marco Conterio, Fenerbahce have stepped up their efforts to complete the transfer. The Sarı Kanaryalar are continuing discussions with Crystal Palace as they seek to reach an agreement for the 28-year-old winger.
Sarr’s reported agreement in principle represents a significant development in Fenerbahce’s recruitment plans. The Turkish side had initially targeted Rafael Leao, but after failing to bring the Portugal international to the club, they have redirected their attention towards the Crystal Palace forward.
No final agreement has yet been confirmed between the two clubs. Talks remain ongoing, with Fenerbahce attempting to conclude the operation and Crystal Palace considering the sporting consequences of losing one of their key attacking players.
Sarr is coming off a highly successful season with Crystal Palace. His form has strengthened his position in the transfer market and attracted Fenerbahce’s interest as the Turkish club looks to reinforce its squad.
The winger has also represented Senegal at a World Cup, scoring four goals during the tournament. His international experience is another factor in his appeal to Fenerbahce, who are seeking to secure a player with both club and international-level experience.

The Senegal international is reportedly paid €4,348,684 per year in England, equivalent to 2,826,644,600 FCFA. Those financial details will form part of the wider considerations surrounding any potential transfer, although negotiations between Fenerbahce and Crystal Palace are still underway.
