Tunisian centre-forward Habib Lazzez has joined JS Kairouan on a free transfer, arriving from Sfax Railways on a contract running until June 2027.
The 28-year-old, a right-footed striker standing at 1.85m, makes the switch after a season with Sfax Railways, continuing a career spent entirely in Tunisian football. His move adds further attacking depth to JS Kairouan ahead of the new campaign.
Lazzez has gathered top-flight experience across several clubs, including CS Sfaxien, SS Sfaxien and ES Metlaoui, as well as spells at CO Medenine, AS Marsa and CS Chebba. He previously returned to Sfax Railways in 2025 from CS Chebba, also on a free transfer.
During his time in Ligue 1, Lazzez has featured 15 times, gaining exposure at the highest domestic level and appearing in league and cup competitions. Earlier in his career he was loaned to Stade Gabesien from CS Sfaxien, where he first made the step up from youth to senior football.
The move to JS Kairouan represents the latest step in a career that has seen Lazzez frequently change clubs within Tunisia, often on short-term and free-transfer arrangements.
Having signed until the end of June 2027, Lazzez is now under contract with JS Kairouan for the upcoming season following his free transfer from Sfax Railways.
