Tunisia midfielder Anis Khedher has joined JS Kairouan on a free transfer from Libyan side Al-Tersana. The 34-year-old central midfielder finalised his move on 29 July 2026, returning to compete in his homeland after a spell in Libyan football.
Khedher arrives at JS Kairouan with a market value of around €75,000 and adds significant experience to the club’s midfield options. Known primarily as a central midfielder, he is expected to operate in the heart of the pitch as JS Kairouan reshape their squad for the coming campaign.
The move brings an end to his time with Al-Tersana, where he had been playing in Libyan domestic competition. His switch back to a Tunisian club marks a new chapter late in his career, offering JS Kairouan a seasoned option in the centre of the park and additional leadership in a key area of the team.
Khedher’s arrival continues JS Kairouan’s policy of targeting established professionals capable of stepping straight into the starting line-up. The transfer has been completed as a permanent deal with no fee involved, with the midfielder now registered as a JS Kairouan player.
