Kingsley Ehizibue, the Dutch-Nigerian right-back currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Genoa in Serie A.
The 31-year-old left Udinese on 1 July 2026 after nearly four years with the Italian club. He joined Udinese from German side 1. FC Koln in August 2022 in a deal worth €1.5m.
Ehizibue has made 115 Serie A appearances during his career, scoring four goals and providing two assists. His experience in Italy could appeal to Genoa as they consider options at right-back, although the link remains a rumour and there has been no confirmation of negotiations or an agreement.
Born in Munich, Ehizibue began his senior career with Dutch club PEC Zwolle, where he progressed from the academy to the first team. He later moved to Koln before switching to Udinese, adding Bundesliga and Serie A experience to his 122 Eredivisie appearances.
His market value is listed at €2m, but no proposed transfer fee has been reported. Ehizibue’s current status means any move would follow his departure from Udinese, where he spent the most recent stage of his career.
Genoa’s reported interest comes as Ehizibue remains without a club, with the defender yet to be linked to a confirmed agreement.
